Achtor does not use advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner to click through.
What Achtor stores on your device
Instead of cookies, the app uses your browser's local storage (a small private storage area on your device) for things it needs to work:
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Your log-in session | Keeps you logged in so you don't have to enter your password on every page | Until you log out |
| Your last opened archive | Opens the archive you used last when you have more than one | Until you clear it or log out |
These are strictly necessary for the service you asked for, so under Irish law they don't need your consent.
Other services
To show the site, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts and code libraries from jsDelivr and cdnjs. These services receive your IP address when they send those files. Achtor does not use them to track you.
If Achtor adds anything else
If Achtor ever adds analytics or other non-essential cookies, you'll be asked first and will be able to say no as easily as yes.
