Data protection (GDPR)
Last updated 10 October 2026
Achtor follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Acts 1988 to 2018. Here's what that means for you and how to use your rights.
Your rights, in plain words
| Right | What it means |
|---|---|
| Access | Ask for a copy of the personal data Achtor holds about you |
| Correction | Have wrong or incomplete data fixed. You can edit most details yourself in Settings |
| Deletion | Have your data deleted. You can delete your account yourself in Settings |
| Restriction | Ask Achtor to pause using your data while a concern is looked into |
| Portability | Get the data you gave Achtor in a format you can take elsewhere |
| Objection | Object to uses of your data based on Achtor's legitimate interests |
| Withdraw consent | Switch off anything you agreed to, at any time |
How to make a request
- Email info@advisoryfromatlas.com from the address on your account and say which right you want to use.
- Achtor may ask you to confirm your identity, to protect your data from anyone pretending to be you.
- You'll get a reply within one month. If the request is complex, this can be extended by up to two more months, and you'll be told why.
Requests are free. A fee is only charged if a request is clearly unfounded or excessive, as the GDPR allows.
People in your memories
If someone appears in your archive and asks you to remove them, please consider their request. If anyone contacts Achtor about content in your archive, Achtor may need to get in touch with you about it.
Complaints
You can complain to the Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28, Ireland (dataprotection.ie, complaint form at forms.dataprotection.ie/contact). Achtor would appreciate the chance to sort out your concern first at info@advisoryfromatlas.com.
